Create your account
- Open MyTracksy Trader and choose Start free. Create an account using your email and password, or continue with Google. Use Sign in if you already have an account.
- Your trader workspace opens straight away with the full Pro package free for 14 days. No card is needed, nothing is charged, and there is no approval wait.
- For email registration, open the verification link sent to your inbox. Check spam too. When the verification banner appears, use Resend email or I’ve verified as needed.
- A trading licence number is optional. Open Settings only if you want it on your records; it is not required to use the workspace.
Before entering real trade information, try the public demonstration with fictional spice-trade records.
Install on your phone
MyTracksy Trader is a progressive web app (PWA). You add it from your browser and open it from your home screen.
- iPhone: open the Trader page in Safari. Choose Share (under More in some layouts), then Add to Home Screen. Turn on Open as Web App if shown, then confirm Add.
- Android: open the Trader page in Chrome. Use Install and create shortcut → Install. Older versions may show Install app or Add to home screen.
Follow the full iPhone and Android installation guide if your browser shows a different menu. Home-screen shortcuts open Trade home, Trades and Inventory directly.
Installation does not activate Pro or remove the need for an internet connection for sign-in, billing, sync and the signed-in ledger.

Your first trading day
Use fictional records for your first walkthrough. Read Storage, sync and privacy before entering trade information.
- Open Trades. Add a buy of 20 bags of pepper at LKR 4,500.
- Open Inventory and confirm the 20 bags, or settle the buy so the line is created.
- Record a sell of 8 bags. A sell quantity cannot exceed on-hand inventory, so 12 bags should remain.
- If you are signed in, settle the deal so the money ledger records the sale or purchase.
- On Pro, open Reports to see a CSV of the signed-in ledger.
Find your way around on a phone
Use the bottom tabs. You may need to open More for counterparties, timeline, reminders and reports.
- Trade home
- Trader command centre.
- Today
- Trade calendar.
- Money
- Signed-in income and expense ledger.
- More
- Trades, inventory, counterparties, timeline, reminders, reports and settings.
On a computer, these sections appear in the sidebar. This guide uses the English labels; your chosen language may translate them.
Buy and sell trades
- Choose Trades. Enter side (buy or sell), item, quantity, unit price, date and optional counterparty.
- A sell quantity cannot exceed on-hand inventory for that item.
- Open deals can be settled. When you are signed in, settling a deal may also write an income (sale) or expense (purchase) to your money ledger so the two stay in step. It does not transfer funds from a bank or broker.
Inventory
- Choose Inventory. Add a held-stock line with item, quantity and unit cost, or settle a buy so a line is created.
- Remaining quantity falls when you record a sell that uses that item.
- Stock value is quantity × unit cost from figures you typed.
Inventory is saved on your device first and synced when online. It is not a warehouse or brokerage holding.
Counterparties, calendar, timeline and reminders
Counterparties
Choose Counterparties to keep suppliers and buyers you type. This is a contact list, not a marketplace.
Calendar, timeline and reminders
- Trade calendar shows deal dates as events you entered.
- Timeline lists recent activity on this workspace.
- Reminders are tasks you create, such as a settlement date.
These records are device first, then your account. Confirm sync before relying on them on a second phone.
Money ledger
Money is the signed-in income and expense ledger. Record sales, commissions, purchases, freight and duty. Totals on Trade home come from these records plus your deals and inventory.
Reports and export
Reports summarises income, expenses and a CSV ledger export for your own review or an adviser.
Upgrade, renew or cancel
- Open Settings or the subscription screen from your account. Your current plan, trial end date and optional trading licence number are shown.
- To upgrade, choose the monthly or annual Pro plan and send the invoice request. The MyTracksy team confirms payment instructions by email or WhatsApp; Pro is activated manually after payment is confirmed. Online card checkout is not yet available.
- Renewals follow the same request flow before the period ends. To cancel, simply do not renew; your records stay in your account and the workspace continues on Free.
Refunds and billing terms are described in the refund policy and terms of service.
Storage, sync and privacy
- Trades, inventory, counterparties, calendar, timeline and reminders are saved on your device first, so they work at the stall without signal, and sync to your signed-in account when you are online. Signing in on another device brings the synced entries across.
- Income, expenses and settings use your signed-in account. Access is limited to your profile by database and storage rules.
- Signing out keeps synced records in your account. Clearing website data before a sync completes can remove unsynced entries; reconnect first and let the sync finish.
- After the trial: your workspace never locks. Pro tools pause on Free until Pro is activated; every record stays in your account.
Read the privacy policy for the full description of processing. You remain responsible for trade confidentiality, device security and record retention.
What this release does not do
- It does not connect to a broker, exchange or live price feed.
- It does not execute trades, hold physical stock, or move money.
- It does not file tax, infer rates, or replace an accountant.
- There is no tax tab, no dedicated export tab, and no AI tab on this workspace.
A sell quantity cannot exceed on-hand inventory. When signed in, settling a deal may write an income or expense to the ledger — a record, not a payment.
Troubleshooting and support
- Reports are locked after 14 days
- Your Pro trial has ended and the account is on Free. Open Settings to request Pro activation; the MyTracksy team activates it after invoice payment.
- My deal is not on the other device
- Open the app on the device where you entered it while online and wait for the sync indicator, then reload the second device.
- The sell was refused
- A sell quantity cannot exceed on-hand inventory. Reduce the quantity or add a buy, then try again.
- Settling a deal did not send money to a bank
- That is expected. MyTracksy records the amount; it does not move money. When signed in it may write a matching ledger entry.
