Make MyTracksy Auto part of your workshop day.

1. Open MyTracksy Auto and choose Start free. Create an account using your email and password, or continue with Google. Use Sign in if you already have an account.
2. Your auto workspace opens straight away with the full Pro package free for 14 days. No card is needed, nothing is charged, and there is no approval wait.
3. For email registration, open the verification link sent to your inbox. Check spam too. When the verification banner appears, use Resend email or I’ve verified as needed.
4. A business registration number is optional. Open Settings only if you want it on your records; it is not required to use the workspace.

Before entering real workshop information, try the public demonstration with fictional workshop records.

MyTracksy Auto is a progressive web app (PWA). You add it from your browser and open it from your home screen.

• iPhone: open the Auto page in Safari. Choose Share (under More in some layouts), then Add to Home Screen. Turn on Open as Web App if shown, then confirm Add.
• Android: open the Auto page in Chrome. Use Install and create shortcut → Install. Older versions may show Install app or Add to home screen.

Follow the full iPhone and Android installation guide if your browser shows a different menu. Home-screen shortcuts open Workshop home, Service jobs and Parts stock directly.

Installation does not activate Pro or remove the need for an internet connection for sign-in, billing, sync and the signed-in ledger.

Every new account starts with the full Pro package free for 14 days, then continues on Free unless Pro is activated — there is no approval step.

Use fictional records for your first walkthrough. Read Storage, sync and privacy before entering workshop information.

1. Open Service jobs. Add Sample Client A · oil + filter with labour LKR 4,500 and parts LKR 1,800.
2. Open Parts stock and add four oil filters.
3. Open Job calendar and confirm the due date appears (jobs with due dates show at 09:00).
4. If you are signed in, invoice the job so the money ledger records the service income.
5. On Pro, open Reports to see a CSV of the signed-in ledger.

On a computer, these sections appear in the sidebar. This guide uses the English labels; your chosen language may translate them.

1. Choose Service jobs. Enter customer, vehicle, plate, job type, labour amount, parts amount, due date and optional notes.
2. Status can move through queued, in-progress, waiting-parts, done, invoiced or cancelled.
3. Open jobs can be invoiced. When you are signed in, invoicing a billed job may also write service income to your money ledger so the two stay in step. It does not transfer funds from a bank or operate a till.

1. Choose Parts stock. Add a line with name, optional SKU, quantity and unit cost.
2. Quantity can be increased or decreased on the same list. A quantity of zero is marked out of stock.
3. Stock value is quantity × unit cost from figures you typed.

Parts stock is saved on your device first and synced when online. It is not a warehouse system. In the public demo, parts used on a job cannot exceed on-hand stock — a teaching rule so the numbers stay honest.

Customers

Choose Customers to keep workshop contacts you type. This is a contact list, not a booking marketplace.

Calendar, timeline and reminders

1. Job calendar shows job due dates as events you entered (at 09:00 on that date).
2. Timeline lists recent activity on this workspace.
3. Reminders are tasks you create, such as a follow-up call.

These records are device first, then your account. Confirm sync before relying on them on a second phone.

Money is the signed-in income and expense ledger. Record service income, parts sales, parts purchases, tools, rent and wages. Totals on Workshop home come from these records plus your jobs and parts.

Reports summarises income, expenses and a CSV ledger export for your own review or an adviser.

1. Open Settings or the subscription screen from your account. Your current plan, trial end date and optional business registration number are shown.
2. To upgrade, choose the monthly or annual Pro plan and send the invoice request. The MyTracksy team confirms payment instructions by email or WhatsApp; Pro is activated manually after payment is confirmed. Online card checkout is not yet available.
3. Renewals follow the same request flow before the period ends. To cancel, simply do not renew; your records stay in your account and the workspace continues on Free.

• Jobs, parts, customers, calendar, timeline and reminders are saved on your device first, so they work at the bay without signal, and sync to your signed-in account when you are online. Signing in on another device brings the synced entries across.
• Income, expenses and settings use your signed-in account. Access is limited to your profile by database and storage rules.
• Signing out keeps synced records in your account. Clearing website data before a sync completes can remove unsynced entries; reconnect first and let the sync finish.
• After the trial: your workspace never locks. Pro tools pause on Free until Pro is activated; every record stays in your account.

Read the privacy policy for the full description of processing. You remain responsible for workshop confidentiality, device security and record retention.

• It does not diagnose vehicles or read OBD data.
• It does not book manufacturer warranty or operate a till.
• It does not move money, file tax, infer rates, or replace an accountant.
• There is no tax tab, no dedicated export tab, and no AI tab on this workspace.

Jobs and parts are records you type. When signed in, completing a billed job may write an income entry to the ledger — a record, not a payment.

Reports are locked after 14 days

Your Pro trial has ended and the account is on Free. Open Settings to request Pro activation; the MyTracksy team activates it after invoice payment.

My job is not on the other device

Open the app on the device where you entered it while online and wait for the sync indicator, then reload the second device.

The demo refused the job

In the public demo, parts used on a job cannot exceed on-hand stock. Reduce the filters used or add stock, then try again.

Invoicing a job did not send money to a bank

That is expected. MyTracksy records the amount; it does not move money. When signed in it may write a matching ledger entry.
