Make MyTracksy Retail part of your shop day.

1. Open MyTracksy Retail and choose Start free. Create an account using your email and password, or continue with Google. Use Sign in if you already have an account.
2. Your retail workspace opens straight away with the full Pro package free for 14 days. No card is needed, nothing is charged, and there is no approval wait.
3. For email registration, open the verification link sent to your inbox. Check spam too. When the verification banner appears, use Resend email or I’ve verified as needed.
4. A business registration number is optional. Open Settings only if you want it on your records; it is not required to use the workspace.

Before entering real shop information, try the public demonstration with fictional shop records.

MyTracksy Retail is a progressive web app (PWA). You add it from your browser and open it from your home screen.

• iPhone: open the Retail page in Safari. Choose Share (under More in some layouts), then Add to Home Screen. Turn on Open as Web App if shown, then confirm Add.
• Android: open the Retail page in Chrome. Use Install and create shortcut → Install. Older versions may show Install app or Add to home screen.

Follow the full iPhone and Android installation guide if your browser shows a different menu. Home-screen shortcuts open Shop home, Inventory and Money directly.

Installation does not activate Pro or remove the need for an internet connection for sign-in, billing, sync and the signed-in ledger.

Every new account starts with the full Pro package free for 14 days, then continues on Free unless Pro is activated — there is no approval step.

Use fictional records for your first walkthrough. Read Storage, sync and privacy before entering shop information.

1. Open Inventory. Add Sample SKU Rice 5kg with quantity 12, cost and sell price LKR 1,450.
2. Sell 2 packs from stock. A sale quantity cannot exceed on-hand stock.
3. Open Credit book and add Sample Customer Silva for LKR 8,500.
4. Open Suppliers and add Sample Supplier Lanka Wholesale.
5. If you are signed in, the sale may write income to the money ledger. On Pro, open Reports to see a CSV of the signed-in ledger.

On a computer, these sections appear in the sidebar. This guide uses the English labels; your chosen language may translate them.

1. Choose Inventory. Enter SKU name, quantity, cost, sell price, reorder level and optional supplier.
2. Status moves through in-stock, low or out from the quantity and reorder level you typed.
3. Sell from stock. Choose an SKU with quantity greater than zero and enter how many to sell. A sale quantity cannot exceed on-hand stock. When you are signed in, a sale with a sell price greater than zero may also write that income to your money ledger so the two stay in step. It does not scan a barcode or take a card payment.

1. Choose Credit book. Add a line with customer, phone, amount and due date.
2. When you are signed in and an open amount remains, settling credit may write income to your money ledger. Amounts are figures you type; the app does not collect a card payment.

Credit lines are saved on your device first and synced when online.

Suppliers

Choose Suppliers to keep a list you type — name and phone. This is a contact list, not an order or barcode system.

Customers, timeline and reminders

1. Customers keeps shop customers you type.
2. Timeline lists recent activity on this workspace.
3. Reminders are tasks you create, such as a restock date.

These records are device first, then your account. Confirm sync before relying on them on a second phone. There is no calendar tab in this release.

Money is the signed-in income and expense ledger. Record retail sales, wholesale, stock purchase, rent, wages, utilities and other spend. Totals on Shop home come from these records plus your stock and credit book.

Reports summarises income, expenses and a CSV ledger export for your own review or an adviser.

1. Open Settings or the subscription screen from your account. Your current plan, trial end date and optional business registration number are shown.
2. To upgrade, choose the monthly or annual Pro plan and send the invoice request. The MyTracksy team confirms payment instructions by email or WhatsApp; Pro is activated manually after payment is confirmed. Online card checkout is not yet available.
3. Renewals follow the same request flow before the period ends. To cancel, simply do not renew; your records stay in your account and the workspace continues on Free.

• Inventory, suppliers, credit book, customers, timeline and reminders are saved on your device first, so they work at the counter without signal, and sync to your signed-in account when you are online. Signing in on another device brings the synced entries across.
• Income, expenses and settings use your signed-in account. Access is limited to your profile by database and storage rules.
• Signing out keeps synced records in your account. Clearing website data before a sync completes can remove unsynced entries; reconnect first and let the sync finish.
• After the trial: your workspace never locks. Pro tools pause on Free until Pro is activated; every record stays in your account.

Read the privacy policy for the full description of processing. You remain responsible for customer confidentiality, device security and record retention.

• It does not run a card terminal or barcode scanner hardware.
• It does not process card payments or move money.
• It does not file tax, infer rates, or replace an accountant.
• There is no tax tab, no dedicated export tab, and no AI tab on this workspace.

Stock, sales and credit are records you type. When signed in, selling from stock may write an income entry to the ledger, and settling a credit account may write income — records, not payments.

Reports are locked after 14 days

Your Pro trial has ended and the account is on Free. Open Settings to request Pro activation; the MyTracksy team activates it after invoice payment.

My SKU is not on the other device

Open the app on the device where you entered it while online and wait for the sync indicator, then reload the second device.

The demo refused the sale

In the public demo, a sale quantity cannot exceed on-hand stock. Reduce the quantity, then try again.

Selling stock did not take a card payment or scan a barcode

That is expected. MyTracksy records the amount; it does not run a card terminal, barcode scanner hardware, or move money. When signed in it may write a matching ledger entry.
