MyTracksy is a progressive web app. You open it in the browser you already have, then add it to the Home Screen so it behaves like an app: its own icon, its own window, less chrome. There is nothing to download from the App Store or Play Store for the workspace itself.
iPhone (Safari)
- Open Safari — not the in-app browser inside WhatsApp or Instagram. If a link opened there, tap Open in Safari.
- Visit your workspace, for example mytracksy.com/medical.
- Tap Share (the square with the arrow). On compact toolbars you may need More, then Share.
- Choose Add to Home Screen. Turn on Open as Web App if iOS shows it, then Add.
- Open the new icon and sign in while you are online.
Android (Chrome)
- Open Chrome, not an Incognito tab and not an in-app browser.
- Visit your workspace URL.
- Tap the three dots and choose Install and create shortcut, Install app, or Add to Home screen — Chrome’s label varies.
- Confirm Install, then open the icon from the Home Screen or app list and sign in online.
Each profession has a dedicated install page with screenshots of that product name: Doctor, MyTracksy Legal, MyTracksy Engineering, MyTracksy Studios, Creator, and the same `/install` path on every other workspace.
What install does not do
- It does not activate Pro.
- It does not copy another phone’s records by itself.
- Sign-in, approval, billing and cloud updates still need a network.
- Medical clinical working records stay on that device unless you use the backup tools described in the Medical guide.
If the menu looks different, use the install page for your profession rather than this summary. Apple and Google change labels. We keep the profession pages updated when the product name on the icon changes.
