Wedding studios in Sri Lanka are busy in season and quiet in others. The dangerous illusion is the busy Saturday: two shooters, a second shooter fee, extra albums promised at the porch, a lens hired for the reception, and a balance payment that arrives three months later. Without a folio, “we had a good weekend” is a feeling.
MyTracksy Studios records wedding event folios, milestones and gear. It does not book venues, take card payments, deliver galleries, or file tax. Milestones that stay locked on Free are labelled in the studio demo so you can see Pro before you pay.
What a folio should capture
- The couple or client name, event date and package you actually sold.
- Advances and balances as amounts you type when they land — not when you hope they will.
- Second-shooter, album, travel and hire costs against that same event.
- Gear assigned to the job, so a missing body has a last event attached to it.
- Milestones you care about (shoot done, selection sent, album ordered) if your plan includes them.
True profit is after the extras
Package price minus the obvious costs is not the job. Add the album reprint you absorbed, the extra hour, the hired prime, the petrol. MyTracksy Studios does not invent those lines. You type them. The point of the workspace is that the next quote can look at a finished folio instead of a round number from last season.
